Just a not so wordless Wednesday post for the day. We’ve woke up to rain the past two mornings. So very nice. And then, sunny before noon hits. Here’s a glimpse of a few things from the past few days that are more interesting than the tv remote and laundry piles.
Indoors
Had cool weather for a second or two…
Baked banana bread
Started decorating for Halloween/Fall
One of my indoor plants back from its outdoor vacation…
Outdoors
Nice to have a break from watering the garden
Last of the cherry tomatoes, hoping they turn red soon.
Threw these pots to the side of the house in disgust a few weeks ago after some creature ate all my sunflower blooms off the stalks.
Wait. When did this happen?!
We finally got some rain here, too. So thankful! Awakened this morning by a hail storm. That was weird! Love the surprise sunflowers! ๐ Have a great rest of the week! We’re on the downhill side!
Glad you got some rain as well! I heard some thunder this morning but I think the heavy duty stuff missed us, can’t remember the last time we had a hail storm. Hoping a hungry critter doesn’t eat my sunflowers again. Yes, almost at the weekend!
OOooohh this gives me all the cozy Fall feels and I’m HERE FOR IT!! We’ve had rain and off since last night and this morning the weatherman used the S word! Aaacckk!! He said there the rain in the evenings the next few days could have snow mixed in. I’m NOT ready for that! Guess I’ll keep the hot tea coming. ๐ I’ll pretend we’re sharing a cup together. ๐ ๐งก
I’m so late (again) replying to comments! I heard you did have some of that *s*tuff fall on the ground. Keep it safe for me, I don’t need any ’til Christmas ๐ Actually, it’s supposed to be in the 20’s around here tonight. Not ready. Aw, I wish we could meet somewhere for a cup of tea ๐
Love your blog blessings dee
Aw, thank you!
I LOVE your throw blanket!!!! It looks perfectly cozy! Happy and cozy autumn day, my friend.
Thank you! It was a splurge at Kohls, love their blankets. I really don’t think you can have too many of that kind, do you? Of course, my teenagers also steal them for their rooms. LOL. Happy Monday!
