Double Question Day

Missed Sunday (had a question just never made it onto the computer yesterday). And now it’s Monday.

I have to leave for work very soon (as in I really don’t have time to do this but here I sit). Let’s start with yesterday’s question.

No time for pics today, sorry.

Sunday’s Question:

Stupid arguments. What’s the last dumb argument (I mean super silly) you had with someone?

My answer: Over the weekend, my husband and I had an argument about how every new pop song was trying to sound like a Taylor Swift song. His opinion. I disagreed. Dumb.

Monday’s Question:

Do you like Mondays? (Keeping it super simple as I’m limited on my time)

My answer: Sometimes. I used to love them when I stayed home and everyone left for work and school. Ah, the quiet house. That routine is gone now. So, sometimes I enjoy them and sometimes I wake up a bit grumpy. Today, case in point.

**************

Hope you all have a wonderful week!

  1. For your first question, it wasn’t my argument, but I still laugh about it because on my birthday I had my brother and his family over. Somehow, towards the end of the night, I walk into the dining room to hear my sister in law and their son in law (my niece’s husband), screaming at each other and arguing over……are you ready??? The difference between turtles and tortoises and who has webbed feet. What the heck man? hahahah

For your second question, I actually love Mondays. I don’t know why, but I always have and I guess I always will.

Have a wonderful day at work and blessed week Jean!

  2. Glad to know the silly arguments aren’t just happening over here 🙂 Going to have to research turtles and tortoises now. I know turtles swim but I didn’t know they had webbed feet?
Mondays can be nice, I don’t think you are alone in loving them but I don’t think they’re the most popular day for a lot of people.
Hope you’ve had a wonderful week so far!

  3. Stupid arguments seem to prevail over memory (or lack there of) around here or just plain lack of observation. I do the Costco shopping for a friend who manages a bar and grill. One of things perpetually on the list is TP, which as you know Costco has been out of quite frequently of late. Last Monday hubby went with me and he went back to get the TP while I picked up the candy for her Trunk or Treat event tomorrow. When we were checking out they rang up the TP which I asked them to take off as it was too expensive (hubby had picked up the individually wrapped ones) and she wouldn’t want to pay that. When we got to the car hubby was ticked off and when he asked why he said it was the only TP they had and she’d be fine with it and how could I possibly know it was too expensive? DUH, one – I keep track of prices and two – I watched them ring it up 😀 He was still arguing with me when I pulled out the reciept and showed him $32.99 vs. $19.99 😀

As for Mondays I do like to think I’m starting a FRESH week and have another chance at getting things right… 😀

    1. Glad to know the silly arguments aren’t just around here. Oh well, at least they’re silly arguments vs serious ones, right?
Mondays are nice if you think of them as a fresh start.
