Let’s do something simple for Saturday. We’ll pretend we’re just going to order pizza for dinner tonight. What are we ordering? Tell me your favorite kind of pizza?
Do you think pineapple on pizza is a-okay or a food crime? Any toppings we should absolutely NOT put on our pizza?
Where should we order from tonight if we’re picking a national chain? Pizza Hut? Papa Johns? Little Caesars? Domino’s? Papa Murphy’s (is that national chain?)
I’m sure we all have our local favorites that win out over the national chains…
Oh, almost forgot the crust! Thin? Deep dish? Hand tossed?
Extra cheese? Extra sauce?
Do we need the little packets of parmesan cheese and red pepper?
And, what about breadsticks of any kind?
Let me know what to order so we can be sure to get something you’d want to eat.
Should I order some side salads or wings as well?

My answers: As usual, my answers depend on the place.
My favorite kind of pizza is actually Hawaiian. Pineapple on pizza is fine and great idea if you want my opinion. Just don’t put too many extras on my Hawaiian pizza, please. Also, nothing wrong with a plain cheese pizza.
I think I’d go with Papa Johns for the national chain as we’ve had good luck with them lately. Pizza Hut is close though. If it’s good, it’s very good. However, sometimes it’s not so good.
I’m not overly picky and can just remove most the toppings I don’t like to eat. I will be removing any olives (yucko) and mushrooms (eww, not on pizza, please!) for sure. Onions and peppers don’t bother too much (well, until later).
Thin crust has been a go to lately but if the pizza is decent quality I don’t mind hand tossed. Not much of one for deep dish pizza.
Extra cheese, sure! Extra sauce, no thanks.
Sometimes I’ll add the little packets to pepperoni but not really to anything else.
If we’re talking Pizza Hut, then, yes let’s get a double order of breadsticks. Skipping them from anywhere else though.
We don’t order side salads but I might have salad stuff here. Sometimes I get an order of wings for the kids.

So this is one of my favorite post titles ever! It is always a good idea to order pizza, but only some people like some places! I will eat pizza anytime, but if you visit, you must share with Madison! She loves pineapple on her pizza. Me? I am a cheese pizza girl. And the sauce must not be too sweet! Ha, thank you! Fun answers and of course, I’ll share! It’s always hard to decide on places around here, we have that issue as well where not everyone likes the same place and then, some don’t like certain places. I’m with you on pizza sauce not being overly sweet. Hope you had a fantastic weekend!
I like Hawaiian pizza, though sometimes I will opt for bacon with pineapple instead of ham. Other favorites are pepperoni, or sausage. The only chain pizza places in my towns are Papa Gino’s which has gone downhill, and Domino’s which ordinarily I would like but that one is run badly. Mostly I order from a small pizza place called Big Red, who are pretty good.
Somewhere around here, can’t remember which place, does bacon and ham on the Hawaiian. It’s very good. The small local pizza places are usually the best. Thanks for answering. Hope you had a terrific weekend!
Our favorite pizza places are a couple of only local ones. One called Shamrock and one called VIP (vintage Italian Pizza) Shamrock I grew up going to my whole life and relatives of mine used to own it! But Annie has always loved Dominos – so we do that one for quick. Matt loves wings there too and we get the garlic parm bites too as that’s an Annie fave too. Annie only does pineapple pizza! No meat!! Just pineapple. She’s an enigma. Lol

J loves Dominos as well but it’s not a huge favorite of the rest of us. I think I burned myself on that during my freshman year of college when they had an after 9 special, I’m thinking it was 9 dollars for 2 mediums or something like that. Ha, I think I’m aging myself with that price. Just pineapple? Interesting. I can see where it would be good but I think I’d need a bit more.
Pizza? I never eat Pizza, haha.
Dutch people often make their own pizzas at home with fresh ingredients instead of ordering from restaurants or delivery services. This might make it seem like they eat fewer pizzas. But let’s be honest: my son loves salami pizza! He just thinks making it himself means he can pile on as much cheese as he wants—it’s like a DIY cheese mountain!
I like extra cheese on pizza as well, it’s definitely the best on homemade pizza! Not sure I’ve ever had salami on pizza but I think I’d like it.
