A Second Delay

The teacher I worked for yesterday missed her flight home so it’s another 7 to 4 day for me. And part of that is helping with school picture day (not a relaxing job).  It looks like my Monday post is most likely going to happen hopefully on Wednesday.

Here’s at least a photo. This was on Sunday afternoon as we were driving over the Missouri River.

Thank you for all the kind comments the past few days as well! I’ll reply as soon as I have another few minutes.

  1. Ug! School picture day! I always hated that day! Never thought about it from the teacher’s perspective though. Bet it was a nightmare for them! Good picture of the Big Muddy! So beautiful! Have a great day, my friend, despite it being school picture day! 🙂

    1. It’s just super tiring at the preschool level. Trying to keep the kids from getting dirty or messing up their hair before their turn. My job was to go collect kids and take them to the picture room. Actually, despite a little bit of a rough start (always, ha), the day went great and the photographers actually made good time with us finishing right on schedule. Thank you, I snapped it while we were going over the bridge on 291 and was surprised how clear it turned out.

  2. Hello my Lovely!
Sorry such a crazy busy time for you. That pic is glorious and makes me want true Spring to show up so much! I hope that the busy calms down soon and you get some wonderful time for yourself. Blessings on the rest of the week ahead. xoxo

    1. I *think* the rest of my week is mine (after I finish playing catch up from Monday and Tuesday, ha). The weather this year is crazy! We had a freezing temps last week and while not snowfall like you’ve had late but we did see flurries. I’m also ready for the real warm weather spring (and summer). Was just in the grocery store thinking how ready I am for some in season produce again! Or better yet fresh from the garden. Hope your week is off to a great start!
